The WSA works closely with WSF and PSA to ensure the development of a highly co-ordinated calendar of tournaments. The "season" for the WSA is the calendar year, and all calendars produced operate from 1^st January – 31^st December.

An event will be sanctioned on the basis that it fits into the WSA World Tour Calendar schedule, agrees to comply with WSA World Tour rules and has the date endorsement of the host country national federation.
